I just wrote my post announcing that I will be writing 31 posts about Jesus, the Bible, and Women, exploring my own feminism and why I consider Jesus a feminist of his time.
I look forward to this time to explore the Scriptures. To explore the stories of Jesus and women (there are so many!). And to perhaps re-frame for us some of the things the Bible says about women.
I hope you enjoy this time.
I’m going to follow the Five Minute Friday community’s Write 31 Days prompts as laid out here (well, mostly, I’m already out of order):
This is mostly to give myself some sense of guidance.
Each post will be written in about 5 minutes with very little editing. This is all the time I have right now. I hope it is encouraging and enlightening to you.
You don’t have to agree with me to read along. But I hope we can all be respectful to one another. I reserve the right to delete any comments that are not kind or respectful.
Post 2: Jesus and a Mysterious Woman (worship)
Post 3: The First Witness (tell)
Post 4: On Creation, the Fall, Jesus, and Equality (create)
